Job boards for lead generation

Generally, I dedicate one day a week for lead generation for Gunner Technology.
Mainly, more sources tend to be friends or other business partners. I’ll send e-mails, make some calls. Whatever.
Generally, I haven’t been short for work, but that doesn’t mean I or anyone else should stop looking for work. You never know when a project won’t come through, so I have some good backup plans, including local newspapers and job boards.
Job boards are tricky. I don’t have time to spend on the boards, looking through all the jobs.
So, I generally add only the ones that will let me do a refined search and syndicate it via RSS, which I subscribe to using Google Reader.
Throughout the week, I check my feeds using the Reeder iPhone app and star any jobs that look interesting and follow up on the starred jobs each Tuesday.
Here is a great list of 44 job boards for web designers, web developers and social media strategists. I don’t recommend following them all. Pick 10 that will allow you to customize an RSS feed so you don’t spend all your time looking for work.
